It was all whirlwind, heat and flash.



Following in the footsteps of Christy, here is the first Raymond Pettibon image I ever saw. I later bought this in patch form and sewed it on the MEC bag I had from grades 8-10. The words on this thing made me feel more badass than 13 year old me could ever dream of being. I still have it to this day, protected in a box under my bed.

According to Wikipedia, the illustration is based on a paparazzi photo of Maureen Hindley and her first husband David Smith, witnesses in the case of the "Moors Murders" serial killers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, driving to the trial in 1966.
